Student Association Scandal

Feb 05

“The case of alleged bribery against Student Association Treasurer Mazin Kased was officially handed over to the Student-wide Judiciary on Wednesday, as an SA committee chose to defer the decision.”

It happened so long ago, most students don’t even remember the details (if they even knew about the scandal in the first place). Way to strike while the iron’s hot!

  1. Seeing as SA convinced Joe Vargheese to graduate without making a decision… ehem, sorry, seeing as the SA commmitee chair “was a graduating senior and he simply didn’t have the time to oversee the case,” the SA was able to quietly put off pushing the issue to the SWJ. They said something about not having enough information to make an ethical decision about the event. So what do you know, they finally get their shit together and are easily able to push the decision along to the SWJ. It only took them a semester or so after the incident… or was it a few days after Pelkey called in University Police to investigate? It’s amazing how fast they can get a decision made when they’re not running around wasting everyone’s money.
